Prepare an internal audit charter for approval of the Audit Committee and Board of Directors to establish internal audit processes and policies and set internal control standards for effective audit • Lead the internal audit function, ensuring adherence to Investment Company’s audit policies, regulatory authority guidelines and approved audit and accounting standards • Approve new and existing policies and plans relating to activity or function under audit review • Provide leadership, expertise and professional advice to Investment Company on internal audit matters to ensure that the Company’s objectives are supported with the appropriate audit program OPERATIONAL: • Prepare and manage the implementation and execution of the annual internal audit plan.
Manage and directs the organization towards its primary objectives, based on profit and return on shareholder’s equity • Lead the development of business strategy, investment strategy, asset allocation plan, business model, annual budgets and implementation framework (including milestones) in consultation with the MD & CEO and Board of Directors for the Marketing, Asset Management and Investment Division • Participate in setting up long and short term actionable goals for Investment Company, with milestones • Ensure protection of Investment Company’s interests in business agreements, litigation.
Keys and Responsibilities:- Planning and budgeting: Provide precise forecasted figures for Treasury Trading operations (Foreign exchange, Money Markets) and Central Treasury during business planning and strategic planning. Consolidate data on profit and loss for Treasury and provide interest rate forecast and balance sheet analysis for annual budget and quarterly reviews for measurement of business growth. Assist Senior Treasury Analyst in reporting and budgeting of financials for Treasury. Exactness of data consolidation and forecast Correctness in number reporting. System Implementation: Review and test new financial systems (asset liability management software) on an ongoing basis. Precision of testing. Promptness in follow-up of issues.
