| Job Description/ Responsibilities |
Assist client with the development and alignment of finance function strategy, plans, priorities and the key financial KPI’s. Assist client in the design of the finance function organization which includes operating model and roles and responsibilities keeping in view the leading practices and ground realities of the organization. Assist client in improving the operational efficiency and effectiveness of finance functions and related operational procedures (eg. Order to cash; procure to pay;close to report;planning and budgeting) keeping in view its compliance to IFRS and control requirements. Assist client in defining IFRS compliant policies, processes, supporting transaction entries and work procedures. Assist client in ascertaining the business and functional requirements, identification of the solution and supporting the implementation of the selected solution. Assist client in developing a management reporting framework which can enable effective reporting of financial performance of the organisation. Assist client in defining the costing model of the organization that ensures compliance to leading parctices. Assist client in defining the technical competency framework that will enable the organisation to ascertain the competencies possessed by personnel working in the finance function. |
| Candidate Requirement |
| Profile | The candidate should possess a good background and understanding in the following skills / experiences profiles – Project Management Finance Function & Accounting Operations, Financial Management & Management Accounting Budgeting, Planning, Forecasting & Management Reporting (incl. variance analysis) The candidate should possess a good understanding of a number of the following skills / experience profiles – Shared Services – Design, Evaluation & Implementation Business Process Outsourcing Finance Strategy & Transformation Finance Function Effectiveness Performance Management (Activity Based Costing, World Class Finance, Activity Based Management Reporting, Value Based Management and Balanced Scorecards) Revenue Assurance, Diagnostics & Leakage Enabling Tools which improve the finance function effectiveness (eg. Cognos, Hyperion etc…) ERP* (eg. SAP, Oracle etc…) – Expertise related to the application & associated processes not just ERP Implementations. Process Mapping, process improvement, data collection for analysis and interviewing clients. Advanced written and verbal communication skills Excellent leadership and teamwork skills Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment Significant experience in serving clients in the financial services industry |
